Guatefondo, leads the local capital markets, which are mostly underdeveloped and where comprised of fixed interest financial instruments until now. The fund was created as an “Investment Society” where ownership is represented by the fund shares.

In its initial stage, Guatefondo will seek capital commitments of up to $25 million by issuing 25,000 shares of $1000 each. More capitalization rounds will be held in the future and could reach $300 million within 4 years.
